This site was initially created in 2004 in memory of our mother and grandmother Barbara Herold (pictured), who bravely endured rheumatoid arthritis for 25 years before her death.

In past years members of Barbara's family have organized Arthritis Walk teams to raise money towards Arthritis research. There

The purpose of this website is twofold. It serves to memorialize Barbara Herold for those that knew her and to honor her life by raising awareness of arthritis, particularly rheumatoid arthritis. This site contains information and external links for those wondering about the extent and nature of arthritis in its many forms. It also includes links to several other arthritis-related charities for those wishing to make a difference in the fight to ease the pain of millions of modern-day arthritis sufferers.
